Best Laptops Under 70,000 Taka in Bangladesh (2026)

70,000 Taka is the budget most students and office users in Bangladesh start with. The good news: in 2026 this money buys a fast SSD, a Full HD screen and a modern processor. The bad news: there are also plenty of slow, outdated models at this price. This guide shows what to look for and lists the laptops we actually have in stock.

What you should get for 70,000 Taka

Processor: Intel Core i3 (13th gen), Core 3 / Core 5 or AMD Ryzen 5. Avoid old 10th or 11th gen chips sold as “new”.
RAM: 8GB is the minimum. Check whether it can be upgraded to 16GB later.
Storage: an SSD, ideally 512GB. Never buy a laptop with only a hard disk.
Display: 15.6 or 14 inch Full HD (1920×1080). Many cheaper models use HD (1366×768), which looks blurry.
Warranty: official brand warranty with a local service centre.

Which one should you pick?

For students

Pick the model with the most RAM and a 512GB SSD. Online classes, Microsoft Office, browsing and video calls all run smoothly on a Core i3 13th gen or Ryzen 5.

For office work

Look for a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint sensor. A business series model (HP 200 series, Dell Pro, Lenovo V series) is built to last longer and is easier to service.

For light photo editing

Choose an IPS display. Colours stay accurate when you look from the side, which matters for editing.

Tip: if your budget can stretch by 10,000–15,000 Taka, a 16GB RAM model will feel noticeably faster after two or three years of use.

Mistakes to avoid

Buying only on processor name. A Core i5 from 2020 is slower than a Core 3 from 2025.
Ignoring the screen. An HD panel is the biggest corner-cutting on cheap laptops.
Skipping warranty details. Ask how long the warranty is and who handles it.
